The dishes in this range are packed full of nutrients – vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytochemicals and other nutrients, such as essential (omega) fats & fibre. While there is no specific definition for the term, superfoods are believed to contain more nutrients per calorie than most other foods and may help to provide the body with optimum nutrition, and to benefit health. These include fresh fruits, low-fat yogurt, seaweeds, honey, spinach, broccoli, salmon, oats, blueberries etc. Other recipes are also included in this range that, whilst not strictly superfoods, their high nutrient / fibre content can help to deliver optimal levels of essential nutrients.
